My dh and i were naughty on Friday night, and we didn't use any contraception, having worked out dates it seems i am at my most fertile time .

Am i imagining that i feel sort of odd? feel really queasy and have a funny bloating feeling. Could i feel like this only 2 days after doing the deed? i have 2 dc already so know the feelings iykwim, or have i totally lost the plot??

2 days? No you won't be feeling anything, even if the sperm have met the egg and the egg has been fertilised it won't be implanting yet. Until it implants your body doesn't know it's pg so no symptoms/ feelings. Would having another be the end of the world? If so do something about it. If it's what you want keep your fingers crossed for the next two weeks and do a test.

How weird though, definately have an feeling something happened, i knew when i got pg with no2 almost straight away and only had sex once that month and had a feeling i was, even though i didn't get a + until i was a few dates late.

I guess it is a watch this space, will let you know one way or another if i am right.

Has no one else "just knew"?

but do you want to be pg?

lulumama · 13/04/2008 17:18

way too soon for any symptoms, would barely be fertilised yet, never mind implanted
not too late for MAP or a coil if you don;t want to be pregnant, but the sooner you take MAP the more chance of it working,

OracleInaCoracle · 13/04/2008 17:23

agree, way too soon. implantation occurs 5-7 dpo, HCG levels arent high enough to affect you until 7-10dpo. its not exact because not everyone ovulates on cd14 but its nigh on impossible to feel pg because you are pg at 2dpo.

There are other MN'ers who knew very early on, i am not cracking up about that.

Magnolia...Not bothered either way really, wouldn't be completely distraught if i was but wouldn't if i wasn't either.

When you want symptoms you can find them. If you do fall pg this cycle you'll tell yourself you knew "straight away" but if you're not pg then you'll dismiss all the so-called symptoms.

OracleInaCoracle · 13/04/2008 20:27

agree with nomoremagnolia. a lot of pg symptoms occur post-ovulation because your hormones change, and the sypmtoms of ovulation, periods and pg are all very simillar.

lulumama · 13/04/2008 21:02

there is early, and there is too early even to remotely know !

LaidbackinEngland · 13/04/2008 21:03

Might be anxiety/anticipation symptoms ?

beenabitdaft · 13/04/2008 21:06
