Really struggling atm getting my hopes up very month thinking this is our month. Had a MC. In December at 5 weeks and have tried ever since with no luck, currently on cycle 6 ttc. It has taken around 3 months for my periods to go back to normal.

anyone else feeling deflated or have any positive stories? Feeling really down about it

Hi love. I'm so sorry for your loss 💛 I know exactly how you're feeling. I had a MC in April and had been trying desperately since because we wanted it so badly. I did notice that the first 2 cycles, I was tracking EVERYTHING, testing LH, taking body temp, going crazy and it just didn't happen no matter how many pregnancy tests I took (and admittedly I took a lot). Last cycle, I deleted all of the apps, didn't test for ovulation and we only had sex every 2-3 days but if we were tired from work or not in the mood, we didn't. We took a super laid back approach, neither me or my partner felt pressured... and bam. Got our positive last week. Maybe try that approach, I know it's so so hard when you're dying to be pregnant but just try forgetting about testing, forget about ovulation and spend the month getting down and dirty and see what happens. Good luck darling xx

your body can be affected by pregnancy of any length so give it time, especially if it took 3 months for your periods to go back to normal. It look us longer to conceive after a MC, fortunately I’m now 30 weeks. I stopped drinking after the MC, and focused on a nutrient rich diet. Also did yoga classes to help my head!

Niiina · 24/07/2024 07:24

Sorry for your loss @Nb1g 🤍 I'm also in the same boat, two early MC back to back (still bleeding from the second) and it's such an awful feeling. Taking a break this month I think and hoping I'll feel ready to go again the following cycle xx

@Nb1g I am very sorry for your loss! I also had a MC this March and a CP this May so I know how you feel. I felt the same when my 1st MC and my 1st CP happened. Although I have yet to have a successful story, try to get back to who you used to be before your MC. Maybe I am a person who can't stay unhappy or sad for a long time, this cycle I have been back to my normal self. I am doing my favorite things, playing my favorite games and eating my favorite food. I am enjoying my life again. Although I still haven't got a BFP, I am still very positive and hopeful for this cycle and the future ones! I am happy as long as I enjoy my life. Eventually it will happen. Self care is also very important in the healing process!

@Shahhhh Wow, that is encouraging!! I had a CP this May and I was tracking everything just like you for the first two cycles! This is the third cycle and I am tracking my LH and BBT (OvuSense and Oral, very stress-free OPKs) and using Mira every other day. Today is CD11 and I got my first High from CBFM. I don't care how many days of High I will get because I know I will eventually get my peak. I am feeling really relaxed after two stressful cycles. I am happy with either outcome this cycle. Not tracking everything is great! I hope you will have an uneventful pregnancy!

Really pleased you are feeling back to yourself @LucyCL! I'm hoping to soon too! Did you find it took you long? Or just focusing on things that bring you joy as you mentioned? Best of luck for this cycle 🤞🏼xx

I took a break for the first cycle after my 1st MC but still found it dragging although the real first AF arrived on time. For the second cycle post MC, I knew I could get pregnant and expected to have a BFP at the end of the cycle which I did. The 2WW was torturing because I had high expectations and was symptom spotting every day. My breasts didn't hurt like the first time so I was confused and worried. Then CP happened a week after, I felt super lost. I had never experienced a CP before so I didn't understand why the line got fainter.
Because of not understanding CP, I was very desperate to see if my hormone levels were back to normal after seeing a lot of fluctuations in LH level. I didn't expect to ovulate super late but it happened in the first and second cycles post CP. Again, I had lots of expectations. When the second real AF arrived, I realised that it was easier to lower or have no expectations. The reason why I had expectations is because I read so many CP threads including success stories.
I know that everyone's body is different and my body needed two cycles to heal after two MCs. I don't know if the third cycle post CP is going to be normal but I have time to wait until it is. I know that my body is recovering and getting better every day physically. So, while I am waiting, I can switch to other things in life.

I had been only focusing on ttc after the 1st MC until the end of the second cycle post CP. Right now I am not only focusing on ttc but also doing my favorite things and other life admins.
I wish you good luck and speedy recovery! Sending you positive vibes!!

Niiina · 26/07/2024 10:20

@LucyCL yes I can totally relate to that. It's strange how each MC can be so different and also seeing how the body adjusts! It's just a waiting game for me now I think.

Pleased you're focusing on other things too! Thank you lovely. Sending positive vibes to you too!

How is everyone else feeling this week? @Nb1g @Shahhhh @Peonies12

I have been using Mira to monitor this third cycle and it is completely back to normal which is great! 😃Currently I am on 7 dpo and CBT keeps rising. AF is due this Sunday and let's see what happens.
I hope you are also feeling better and keeping yourself busy! I wish this cycle is going to be a positive one for you!

Niiina · 06/08/2024 08:56

That's great news @LucyCL 🙌🏼🤞🏼 for Sunday!! I'm doing well thank you, feeling better now! Thought I was ovulating early but it's just been an extra strong one and so far I think cycle is on track, we will see. AF due in two weeks still. Skipping this cycle though, I can't bear it xx

Feeling positive this cycle I’ve deleted the apps and not tracking ! Just regular BD and concentrating on the gym and enjoying time off with my partner. How are you ?

OP posts:
Niiina · 12/08/2024 14:03

That sounds great @Nb1g! I've been the same (minus BD as wanted the break). Just enjoying life more and letting my body do its thing! Are you post O now (if you have any idea)?

LucyCL · 12/08/2024 17:43

@Nb1g @Niiina Relaxing , enjoying your life and focusing on yourself definitely helps! I got a BFP 3 days ago and I am finding it a bit hard to manage my anxiety. I hope everything goes smoothly for you !

Niiina · 12/08/2024 18:20

Ahhh @LucyCL congratulations, I'm really pleased for you! Yes I can imagine it's so hard. Have you contacted GP/EPU to be monitored? Sending love and fingers crossed for you 🤞🏼🤍

Is having 2 early MCs good enough to inform EPU to monitor my third pregnancy?

Niiina · 13/08/2024 05:58

Are you over 35? If so they'll monitor you! But I you can self-refer anyway 🤍 The worst that will happen is they'll just want to do your booking in at the normal time. But if you're worried I'd try and speak to them xx

I am 34 so probably they will treat me as any other people. It is still worth asking them !

Sounds Great giving yourself a Break😊. It’s a long slog this TTC business! I have a general idea of where I’m at in my cycle I’m definitely post ovulation now. I occasionally think ahhh I’m in the “2ww” and absolutely pretending like I’m not in it😂. Just feel now I’m not getting my hopes up . We’ve cancelled our 2026 wedding also as that was adding a lot of pressure to the timing of conceiving. Feel a lot more relaxed now.

how long are you giving yourself a break for or just going to see how you feel?

I was teary after ovulation. Then it got worse on 9 dpo and I cried so much. I also started to feel a slight twinge on the right side of the uterus from 8 dpo until 11 dpo. Also on 9 dpo I noticed that my RHR was 66. Normally when it was close to AF, my RHR was 65 then dropped to 55. Instead it increased by 1.😀
Tomorrow I am going to call EPU to ask if they could give me an early scan because I will turn 35 this November and had two early losses this year.

Niiina · 19/08/2024 10:03

Totally know the feeling @Nb1g 😂😂 So pleased you feel better and it's just whatever makes you feel relaxed and happy and enjoying life isn't it!! Yeah just going to see how I feel as it's been hard having two back to back, I just need the mental break 🤍

Ahhh all very exciting symptoms @LucyCL! At the time were you like hmm this could be it? 😃🥰 Let us know if you can get the scan xx
