Unusual cramping

Hi everyone, first ever post after lurking for a couple of months. I’m overthinking and Google can’t help!

We’ve been TTC for nearly 6 months. I have 29-32 day cycles. I’ve been ovulation testing for 3 months with Premom strips and they show I’m ovulating quite late - day 19-21.

For the last 3 months I’ve had cramps start 3/4 days after ovulation, which persist for 6/7 days before period starts.

I came off the pill at the start of the year so wondered if this is just my cycles returning to ‘normal’ - but I’ve never had anything like it before whilst on or off the pill. I’ve never had any signs of endo/fibroid, and my period cramps are normally fairly minimal and just on the day it’s due to start.

I feel like I’ve barely ovulated before my body is telling me I’m already out for the month - like my body is rejecting any chance of conception straight away! Has anyone had anything similar or any ideas of what could be causing it?

@Suth3rland I have no solutions but I have the exact same thing! I get cramps and backache from about 2dpo and it usually stays until my period starts 😭

I got cramps from 7dpo without fail and thought that was a sign I was out every month but I actually got them the month I got my BFP too so I don't think it was. I do have endometriosis though, not sure if the two are linked
