Pale yellow discharge???

Hi ladies

I'm currently 4 weeks and a few days pregnant. I had a miscarriage in April so we're over the moon it's happened again so quickly for us but I am absolutely terrified. I know the odds are with us for this pregnancy and just because we miscarried the last time doesn't mean we will this time, but it's so scary as much as it's exciting.

This pregnancy feels a lot different, I have a lot more symptoms than I did the last time which is comforting... but I'm having quite a bit of pale yellow discharge, NO smell and no itchiness or burning, purely just quite a lot of slimey ewcm with a yellow twinge to it. I was wondering if this is normal?

I know if there was a smell or discomfort then I'd be inclined to say BV or thrust. Part of the reason for the last miscarriage was, I was put on antibiotics for a cyst I had down below (TMI, sorry) and I had an allergic reaction (I'm allergic to penicillin so they put me on erythromycin which I'm now allergic to also, the joys), which triggered the bleeding and then the miscarriage happened that same weekend. So I'm so scared to take ANYTHING this time, so even thrush meds are scary to me.

Just after a bit of reassurance if anyone had experienced this in early pregnancy? Thanks friends xxx

Today was the first day I felt proper sickness, my mouth just will not stop watering either. I had cramps up until about 4 days ago and they have now stopped but I had the exact same stabbing. I also have had pretty severe dizziness/vertigo since about 8dpo which is why I tested - I might go to doc about this as I’ve nearly fallen over a few times!! Boobs also hurt and I have crazy insomnia!! Other than that nothing else 🥴😂 You? Xx

@Butterfly8719 that's mad, I could have written that!!! 😂 I've had word dizzy spells too which I've never ever had before, lots of sickness and food making me feel 🤢 super sore boobs and weirdly, really hard nip's 😂 I still have cramps and quite a lot of stabby pains but I've read that that's normal as long as there's no bleeding which I haven't had! Such a scary, exciting road to be on isn't it? Xxx

@Shahhhh haha well I am glad we both feel the same!! 😁 my nips have just got way bigger 😄🥴 which is quite funny. So many people say they have cramps throughout first trimester, so I think it’s a good sign! Definitely exciting and nerve wracking at once - we’ve been trying 6 years and had 3 failed rounds of ivf, we were getting ready for a 4th round and fell pregnant naturally! So I’m very nervous and will have early scan at 6/7 weeks. I’ve already had Betas and so far so good 🤞🏼 I think all these symptoms are a very good sign though ❤️

@Butterfly8719 aw man that's incredible 💛 deffo keep me updated with how everything goes for you, I'd love a pregnancy buddy to help keep me sane with all these supporting/wondering what's normal and what's not!

We had an early scan last time so I think we'll end up doing it again, it's nice for the reassurance but I might wait till 8ish weeks. We had one at 6 weeks last time, saw the heartbeat and then miscarriage started that evening, it was a rollercoaster. Just taking one day at a time this time🥰 sending you a cuddle!! X

It’s definitely been a big old shock to the system!! We couldn’t quite believe it. Will 100% keep you posted, like you say nice to have someone going through the same ❤️

I am so so sorry about your loss, I can only imagine the heartbreak. Does it feel much different this time? Do you feel more symptoms etc? And exactly, one day at a time - what we’ve been through doesn’t change this outcome now, we have more chance of coming out of this with a baby in our arms than not!! Sending lots of love a positivity xx

@Butterfly8719 it feels sssooo different this time! Last time the only symptom I had was slighty sore boobs. This time it seems I've been hit with everything but they're the most welcomed symptoms ever haha 👶 you just find yourself micro analysing eeeeverything!

I'm genuinely so so happy for you. I know how heartbreaking TTC can be WITHOUT the IVF but can't imagine how hard that would have been. Such a huge blessing and a miracle that you've managed to conceive naturally 😭💛
