Hello, long time reader first time poster !

My and my husband have been TTC almost a year now, I have suspected PCOS, waiting on scans / bloods to confirm. I decided to try tracking BBT with Natural cycles and have just finished first cycle, which is saying it believes it was an anovulatory? There's so much info on Google not sure what to think. A number of my last cycles have been 44 days, this cycle was 34 so was delighted thinking it was going right direction, but now I don't know what to think.
I'd really appreciate some advice from others who track this regularly ? 😊 thanks for reading

That is hard to say. There isn’t the distinct increase there, well from cd20 it’s at least consistently high/average but some of the early temps are that level too.

How do you take your bbt? Is it with a thermometer that reads 2 decimal places? Do you take it first thing in the morning before drinking anything/going to the toilet? Also at the same time?

I guess record it again for your next cycle and see if it was a one time occurance? I suppose it is also different than your usual cycle length too if 44 is more typical?

Hi Blue2020, thanks for the reply!
Yes the Thermometer I use is 2 decimal places Most of the time they were taken at the same time, few could be slightly out but always first thing in the morning before i do anything. I'm going to set an alarm for the same time every day and see does that help this cycle!

Yea it was the change in cycle length confused me, I've tried ovulation tests in the past but with the suspected pcos I know they aren't always reliable 😵‍💫

It sounds like you are doing everything right with bbt. Maybe it was a one off cycle? I guess they can happen. Sorry I can’t be of much help. Maybe someone will see the post who has experienced this before.

No need to be sorry at all, thanks for the message, really appreciate it, fingers crossed it is a once off 🤞 😊
