Am I going insane, did I have a chemical pregnancy or were the tests faulty?

Hi guys! It's my first time here, but not on the baby making rodeo.
Life loves to play tricks on us, so our condom broke right around my ovulation (5-6th of this month). I took plan B the next afternoon once I was able to get to the pharmacy.
Four days later I felt cramping, which I suspected could have been an implantation. I first tested ~10dpo using ClearBlue and got a faint positive. The next day it was even fainter, but still visible and the day after that got a clear negative. I'm today ~14dpo and tested with another brand test and it was also clearly negative.
Was I really so unlucky that I had two faulty tests in the same box and I'm now driving myself crazy for no reason? Is it possible I had a chemical pregnancy? I have two children, both tested big fat positives early on and I've never experienced a chemical pregnancy before, so I don't know how it would appear on the tests. Or could I be pregnant and it's just not showing up on the test for some reason anymore?

My period is about due now, and I understand it might come late due to the plan B I took. But even though this happening was unexpected, I already kind of got used to the idea of adding a third one to our flock 😔 Should I keep testing if I don't start bleeding soon?

Sorry you’re struggling. It is possible you had 2 faulty tested or it may be a chemical. But now you’ve had negatives it sound be safe to assume you’re not pregnant sorry

Thanks for the well wishes! I'm not very upset, like I said this wasn't planned, but it's still a bit of a bummer. But I do feel better knowing there was probably a real reason for the "mysterious" positive tests and I'm not loosing it 😅 Off to new adventures!
