Hi,

I had a medical termination 7 weeks ago. Since then, I’ve had unprotected sex once with the POM (please don’t judge!!), now I’m getting a faint positive line.

Just looking for advice… have my HCG levels not returned to normal after the abortion or is this likely to be a new pregnancy?

I don't see a line, but if there is one you should speak to your doctor to rule out incomplete termination.

Did you take a test around 3 weeks after your termination to check that the HCG had gone and you got a negative test?

Sorry I don't know what POM means but I would say try and speak with your doctor if possible. I hope you are ok.

Could be either. Test again in 2 days and see if the line gets darker x

Please remember that a darker line doesn't necessarily mean that a pregnancy is progressing
