Hi, so my husband and I have been TTC for 2 and a half years (since I’ve come off the microgynon pill)
I’m 33, my husband is 34 and has a 9 year old daughter from a previous relationship.
We have been to the doctors and had tests done, everything has come back looking really good.
Although internal scan showed I do have one polycystic ovary (but I don’t have the syndrome which I didn’t realise you could have PCO and not PCOS) I was told this shouldn’t affect me falling pregnant.
On 21st June 2025 I had a hycosy, everything looked good, tubes were not blocked.
I was hoping this would mean we would catch quickly after that procedure. I know they say the next 3 months your chances of falling pregnant are higher. Unfortunately I have not fallen pregnant this month.
I was just wondering if there is anything else I can do to help my chances of falling pregnant?
I already take multi vitamins (not pregnancy ones), CoQ10 and folic acid.
If anyone has any tips/advice I would greatly appreciate it. Or if you could share your experience if similar to mine that would be great. Thank you!

Would you consider IVF? At 33 you are still young enough to get lots of eggs and good embryos.

The one time my pregnancy was successful was when we used preseed lubricant. May be worth trying?

If I don’t fall pregnant the next couple of months, I’ve been told by the fertility clinic the next step would be clomid and I believe IUI before IVF.
IVF is not something we would do. So far we have gone to a private fertility clinic, and have spent a lot of money already.
I am on the NHS waitlist but the wait is so long.

Thank you, I will look into preseed lubricant.
