Positive and negative in same day??? Help!

I took the first ‘positive test’ today. It initially didn’t start soaking up the urine so I thought it was broken and continued to watch it. After about a minute I could see the urine soaking up and it came up positive immediately but stayed with this kind of pinky colour in the background.

second test also on first morning urine negative??

I have so many pregnancy symptoms. Don’t know what to think? Period is due in 4 days

I think the first test might be flooded and that’s why it’s got the pink colour in the background.

I would try a 6 day early pregnancy test and see what it comes out with.

🤞 for you!

Those tests are the worst to be early testing with.

I agree, definitely try other tests love. I've always had issues with those ones and flooding!

Thanks for your replies!

does the flooding mean it’s a false positive?

I’ll do a clear blue early test in the morning

Good luck with the CB.
If you're not happy with it though, first response are the best imo

Thanks all. Two negatives this morning with clear blue and another cheapie. AF due Wednesday. I’m so angry this happened. Even told my husband we were pregnant 😞

The first one you thought was positive looks flooded. Are you testing from a pee in a cup to avoid this in the future?

Amy341 · 14/07/2024 07:14

Thanks. I didn’t even know flooding was a thing! Yes all tests are being dipped from now on. Not going through that again!
