I'm 42 and since November last year, my periods have been a bit off. I was always every 29 days until I got covid in October, at which point my cycles went haywire.
They were going in a short/long/short patterns eh 22, 35, 28, 34, 23, 32 etc
Last cycle was 37 days. On Day 3 of my next cycle, we had unprotected sex because I thought I was OK; the bleeding had stopped too. The day after, cd 4, I had loads of EWCM which lasted all week. I panicked that I had maybe ovulated early and caught, so did a few cheap preg tests around CD 27. Totally negative.
Now my period has not shown up again, and I'm on Day 36. The only time we had unprotected sex was on cd 3, so am I right in thinking that I would have got a bfp on cd 27 if I had conceived? I have been feeling sick in the morning recently, but that happens coming up to my period.
I'm now staying with relatives in a very remote place outside the UK so can't get my hands on a test without quite a bit of effort and don't really want the trek and to to waste a tenner.
I would rather not be pregnant. Am I right in thinking, this is peri rather than pregnancy? I ended up having ewcm throughout my entire cycle so no idea when I ovulated, or even if I did at all.
