Pre-conception vitamins that don't cause nausea?

I started taking pregnacare before conception and feel really nauseous. I'll give it a couple of days to see if it calms down but if it doesn't I'll need to switch. Are there any decent pre conception vitamins that don't cause nausea? I was previously taking a standard multivitamin without issues but it has Vitamin A so obviously need to avoid that. I know I could take just folic acid and vitamin D but I'd ideally like to take a multivitamin as it's what I've done for ages and I do feel better taking them (before pregnacare at least).

I think the reaction to the vitamins is different for everyone and might just be luck of the draw. I took Pregnacare conceive for six months and never once felt sick. I also took a pack of Pregnacare pregnancy vitamins once I'd conceived and never once felt sick.

I recently changed to just a vitamin d and folic acid combo, which was a huge amount cheaper, and feel mildly nauseous every evening after I take them.

@KittyFantastica that's interesting you find the folic acid + vit d give you nausea but the pregnacare didn't. I might have to just go down the route of trial and error.

They all made me nauseous. The worst culprit were the zita west ones (and the most expensive!) I think it was the iron content making me ill. I just took folic acid, vitamin d and DHA separately in the end.

I am taking Proceive and am feeling fine.

I was fine with pregnacare with/pre DS1 but my god it made me feel nauseous with DS2. Ended up just on the folic acid to make life bearable!!!

You could try it last thing at night so you're asleep when the nausea would be at its worst?

Thanks all. I've been taking it with my evening meal and it's then been the morning that I've been feeling the most nauseous and also had a dodgy stomach. My gut feels really irritated, I have IBS anyway and it feels like it's put me into an IBS flare up. I think I'm going to pick up the Boots combined folic acid and vit D tablets tomorrow.

It's expensive but wild nutrition.

Pregnacare made me feel absolutely awful. Wild nutrition was much more tolerable! X
