Hi all,

AF was a day late this morning I was getting all excited as it's usually never late (my cycles are usually always 26 days or 27 at most).

But of course when I finally decided test, I felt cramping starting and then started bleeding an hour later. feeling so so down.

This was my first month TTC but still.... it's so annoying. I even had a vivid dream last night that my test would be positive and thought omg is that a sign LOL. Nope!

Anyway this post has no purpose at all really, just needed to rant and write it all down, to make me feel better lol.

Back to square one.... CD1 here we go

Good luck to everyone trying!! Feel free to join this thread if you're also entering a new cycle or recently have 💜

Hi OP, sorry you're feeling that way. My best advice is to try to enjoy these few months TTC. It's SUCH an exciting time and can make yourself and your partner feel so close and stronger than ever if you don't let your mind take over and spoil the excitement for you. Please please please remember it is 100% normal to take a year for a healthy couple to conceive. I wouldn't like to think of you being so disappointed this early on. If it's then taking a while or any issues you can cross that bridge when you come to it. But enjoy the process and try your best not to stress (stress and TTC do not go well together).
Very best of luck! 🥰

I might be joining you tomorrow. I’m so sure AF is coming. The cramps are more like period cramps now. Gutted. :(

I hope that's not the case @CSSL7 I keep my fingers crossed for you 😘

to top it all off for me this week, I learned yesterday that my partner has to have a sciatica surgery early August and because his pain got so much worse in the last few days, he needs to take Naproxen every day until his surgery early August.

the Drs and NHS website said there is no evidence suggesting that Naproxen affects male fertility, so they said we're good to keep TTC, but I read online on other websites that it can reduce sperm count and motility temporarily.

Anyway.... we'll still try as normal and see what happens. As my DH say, 'reduced' doesn't mean zero...

I'm CD3 today, cant wait for AF to be over 😅

thank you so much for your kind words! I know it can take several months, I was just feeling unnecessarily sad the other day 😅Im always a bit dramatic on 1st day of my period LOL

No more pressure, we'll just go with the flow and enjoy every moment💜
