Q about charting (2nd guessing myself)

I've been charting on & off for years. These are the charts for our most recent attempt Minster's Charts

How likely is it that you get all the CM & cervical changes associated with ovulation, a corresponding +ve OPK and a temperarure rise but don't actually ovulate?

I'm completely second guessing myself? Could it be that I'm not ovulating?

Dr won't to a progesterone test because I'm breastfeeding - I'm going to get one done privately next cycle.

Arrgh.

You can stop or delay ovulation if you are stressed/ upset etc. But I guess this wouldn't happen every month.

Another way to tell if you are ov is to take your temp. It should rise after you ov, so it's not a good way to time sex, but it is another indicator of ov - iyswim.

I can highly recommend a book called Taking Charge of Your Fertility. It is amazing. It explains how your cycles work and why. It also explains how to chart and has copies of charts in the back of the book.

Doah - I have just looked at your charts! Great charts by the way

You defo seem to have a temperature shift, so from looking at your charts it looks like you are ov.

Is BD when you have sex? It looks like you are doing it at the right time. I'm sure the above mentioned book says if the sperm quality is not as good as it could be, have sex every other day. I am not questioning anyones fertility, but maybe it's something for you to think about?

Also do you check the position of your cervix? I didn't do this, but it is another indicator of ov.
