Is this a strong enough positive ovulation test? Not sure how dark the line should be. Was fainter yesterday

No that isn’t positive OP, for it to be positive the test line has to be darker than the control line x

But it’s darker than last nights, does that mean it’s getting closer? Sorry I’m not very clued up on all this

It’s really difficult to say just based off of the tests alone OP. Some people can go from basically nothing to a peak then back to nothing in less than 12 hours, so it may be that you are still to get your peak, it may be that you peaked at some point between yesterdays test and todays test, it may be that this is just a fluctuation of your LH and not coming up to your peak. Your LH does naturally go up and down a bit throughout your cycle and not every increase is a peak obviously. Once you have tested for a few cycles you will have a better idea of what “normal” is for you x

@K84452 It’s not positive sorry , if it’s darker than yesterdays then it means ovulation is getting closer and you should test again tonight and tomorrow morning at least 2 times a day , the line will only get darker from now on so keep testing , testing line has to be darker than the second line or at least same darkness . And once it gets darker than the second line , then you will normally ovulate 12-36 hours after this . So could be on the same day 12 hours later or 1 day and half later or somewhere in between like 25 hours later . Good luck

@Ilovebees thank you for helping. Just have to have lots of ‘tries’ over the next few days 😂 and keep testing twice a day. Last month was unsuccessful so keeping everything crossed for this month. Trying for baby number 2, my daughter is 20 month x

@K84452 no worries , are your cycles regular and what day of cycle are you now ? Does this almost positive line up with your normal ovulation times ? And yes defenetly keep having s**x today and for the next few days as sperm can live up to couple of days inside . Better to be safe than sorry and leaving it too late , it’s always better to have sperm waiting before you ovulate not afterwoods . Good luck again and i hope you ovulate very soon ! I can see this test being positive tomorrow 😀😉

@Ilovebees only came off the pill last month but my cycles have been around 25 days in the past, cycle day 9 today and had slight, clear, stretchy mucus this morning. Only a small amount so it’s looking hopeful

Keep testing and increase it to 2-3 times a day spread out. You can upload it to Premom to help keep track of them if you wanted to.

If it’s similar to last cycle in length then you might get the peak soon.
