Hey, we are TTC #3
Just had first AF post partum and now on CD 7. I'll probably be pretty irregular due to postpartum so unsure when I'll ovulate.l, just started using easy at home ovulation tests as I spent a fortune on clear blue with DC #2 🙈
Fingers crossed this is our month! 🍀

@Anonymous130197 I have two boys, 2years and 5months. It took us 7 months to concieve DC2. If we're lucky enough to hsve a third the house will be total chaos as I'm assuming we'll have a 3rd boy.
How about yourself?

Anonymous130197 · 06/07/2024 20:52

@Kiwiburgh awww how lovely! We’re like opposites 🤣
I have 3 girls, 6, 4 and about to turn 2! They all took about 6-8months so I’m buckling myself in for another long attempt 😆

were exactly the same expecting another girl 🤣

No my third. I had twins 8 months ago but they died at birth. I was 29 weeks. One of my little boys was stillborn and his brother passed away in the neonatal unit 4 days later. I really want to give them a sibling so hoping this month I'll be lucky. The disappointment each month is hard.

Thinking positive thoughts though. 😄😃

@Ella31 Oh my goodness I'm so so sorry that's absolutely awful. Sending you so much love 🤍

Did they have any reasoning for coming early?

Neonatal is such a scary place too. All three of my girls were prem, the first was in neonatal for a long time. I had the cervical cerclage for my youngest and she was the longest cooker so if this one's successful I imagine I'll have it again

They were due to be delivered at week 35 as they were identical making them high risk. No I had a perfect pregnancy but they got a rare condition only identical twins can get that strikes very quickly. It's rare for it to happen in late pregnancy like mine. It basically causes the placenta to suddenly depletes one baby of blood and gives the other too much. It just spontaneously happens. It was 1% chance of it happening at my stage. We literally pulled the unlucky straw. They were otherwise perfect. It happened in two hours or less they reckon.

So i had a scan 3 days before and they were perfect. 3 days later I had no movement. Went into hospital. Found out my beautiful twin 1 was gone, he had died. I delivered them both. Twin 2 was barely alive. Straight to Neonatal. 4 days later they explained that he was so critically ill that even if he managed to survive he would be so impaired he would have no quality of life. We agreed to let him go and life support was withdrawn and he passed away in my arms that night. First and last day I held him alive.

We started trying very quick again. 6 weeks later. So I'm on month 7 of trying now. It probably was too early but I'm 33 and my little boys are gone. They made me a mom and I know deep down it's what I was meant to be. Apologies now for the long story 😅

Yes neonatal is terrifying. I'm glad your girls were ok. It's daunting in there. The staff are fab though

No, mine were identical so not hereditary anyway. We were shocked when we discovered they were twins. So happy though.

I'm 1dpo and trying not to build my hope up. We dtd every second day this month so hoping it was enough. Brfore we did long stints during fertile week

@Ella31 Oh wow, you learn something new everyday!

I've read every other day is the best way to be fair. We try to be every other day, depends if one of the girls ends up awake in the night haha!

I'm 7 DPO today and just itching to know although I don't expect much as the girls took a while!

7dpo. You aren't too far away. When will you test. I'm going to try and hold out until 10dpo.
