Help! Based on my LH surge, I am 3/4 dpo but OvuSense thinks I am in the ovulation window?!

Is it possible to ovulate 3 days later after you get a LH surge? If this is the case, I stopped BD'ing after the O day and didn't get a BFP last cycle. I might have ovulated 3 days after the LH surge and missed the window? Am I making sense here?

With bbt and fertility friend app once you have three consecutive high temps it confirms ovulation occured a few days ago.

Online it says ovulation 12-36hrs after the peak. If you dtd on ovulation day it still covers you for so many days.

Of course the lh tests don’t confirm ovulation, just implies it’s going to happen very soon. The bbt confirms it happened or not. I assume ovusense is equiv to bbt?

Yes, it is my first cycle to use it. OvuSense measures BBT internally. You put it inside your vagina and sleep. The next morning you take it out and it provides the average BBT for you.

OvuSense finally confirmed that 2/7/24 was my O day which matches the day after my LH surge. That makes today officially 4 dpo.

Honestly track if it makes you feel more in control but the only thing that works is having sex .

Womens bodies do not fit into set rules and timetables, my youngest was conceived at a time where according to a tracker, and my midwife, it wasn't possible, but I know it was as we were only had sex once as we're trying to avoid getting pregnant that month.

I expected my body to work like a clock but it was not the case, sadly. Tracking makes me feel like I am in control and I was obssessed with using lots of gadgets to find out what was happening inside my body and why I didn't ovulate on time etc..

I will continue to have sex every day and make sure it is all covered. Eventually I will get a BFP. Thank you for the advice!
