Has anyone used Macca root or anything similar to help them convince?
Ive been TTC for 9 months and no success yet. I’ve had blood test for hormones and came back normal, ultrasound was also normal.
I read you use macca root to make hormone levels normal but if mine are fine anyways will it do more harm than good?
My periods are irregular and I’m not sure if I’m ovulating, I used ovulation sticks in February and didn’t get a positive gynaecologist said to not use them because they’re not very good.
im Seeing the gynaecologist again in October when it’s been a year trying and she’ll do more test then. But if I can conceive before hand I’ll take all the help I can. I have a 3 year old who I had via C-section.

Ive been TTC no 1 for about 7/8 cycles now and have tried macca root didnt make much difference for me. It did however delay my period the first month of taking it but then it went back to normal (irregular as well but usually 30-33 days ) i ended up way in to 40+ days.

Everything is worth a try as things work differently for every one.

Sorry if this isn't useful, hope it works for you, good luck 🤞🏻

After I finished bleeding after CP, I started to take one Maca capsule every day to balance my hormone levels. I ovulated on CD22.
Before CP, I used to ovulate between CD15 and CD19.
This is the second cycle after CP, I started to take one Maca capsule and a teaspoon of Maca root powder until the day when I got LH surge. This cycle is not affected by CP but I still ovulated on CD22/23.
On CD16, I had light spotting as well.
My guess is Maca root has delayed my ovulation and caused light spotting.
Having more energy is the only good thing which Maca has done for me.
I was hoping to use Maca to help me to conceive last cycle but it didn't happen.

I don't think I will use Maca again if I don't get a BFP this cycle.

I did and it seemed to work for me, but obviously I can’t be 100% this was why - I took it daily from when my period ended when I wanted to start trying, then when period came stopped again.

As soon as period was over, started taking it again and I ovulated for the first time in a while - got pregnant that cycle!
