False positive on clear blue digital?

Hi all,

I had surgical management for a missed miscarriage at 12 weeks in March. I also have endometriosis and PCO.

I'm only 8dpo but I'm due on Saturday and I just took 2 tests.

The cheapie is negative but I've got 1-2 weeks on the clear blue digital. Has anyone ever heard of a false positive? Struggling to believe it's true.

Thanks!

Did it come up in the specified time frame?
It's quite unusual to get a false positive on a digital test.
Try again tomorrow to be sure!

False positives are quite unusual. They test for a hormone and it's either there or it's not. Its easy to miss it if it's very weak but harder to detect it when it isn't present.

Did the positive result show within the timeframe specified in the clearblue instructions? If so, then it’s defo positive!

if you waited longer than the results timeframe provided before checking, then it’s not viable and you need to take another test

Thanks all!

Just an update. I took another digital last night and it said not pregnant. However I took another digital this morning and I've had another 1-2 week pregnant result. So maybe just too early to be consistent.

Your morning pee is more concentrate. Try again tomorrow morning and don’t bother treating at night
