Implantation bleeding? has anyone had one

Have any of you ever had an implantation bleed before a BFP? If so when did it happen? What was it like?

yes, I thought it was a period, but only one or 2 days worth of pale pink discharge.
In fact I commented to my dp that their would be no babies this month, as I thought it was a period! 9 months later dd was born.

I got my BFP yesterday, and have had implantation bleed since Sunday.

It is light brown, and more discharge like, rather than blood which is runnier.

The biggest bleed I noticed was about the size of a 50p piece when I woke up on Tuesday. There isnt very much there either when I wipe.

Same here - I thought it was a period too - a bit earlier than period was due (about a week I think), one reasonable belled - then nothing - and yes BFP...

I started spotting on Monday (AF due tomorrow). Have had a couple of resonable bleeds (but not heavy and not enough to use a tampon) with cramps. The bleeding has now stopped and so have the cramps. My skin has broken out on my chin, chest and back. I normally only get the odd spot when AF due. My nipples look bigger, I am bloated and I woke up at 3am this morning feeling quite quesy. I know all the signs are suggestive but I convinced myself I was pregnant last month and I wasn't. Oh I hate the waiting! I know I will go and buy a test and AF will start with a vengance.

oh god, Chinchi you have just described exactly what I was about to post!!!! Good job i checked this thread first.

my AF was due 4 April (last Friday)....nothing by Monday, tested and got BFN.

nothing by Tuesday but in the afternoon a small bleed the size of a 20p piece!

tested again Wednesday, BFN again.

Since then some slight brown discharge and nothign else.

Could i be pg and be getting negative results??? Is that implantation bleeding? Roseability sorry for hijac.

hi roseability I had an implantation bleed with my lo, my last af was april 20th and ovulated on Friday 4th, my implantation bleed was the following Wednesday and I tested positive the Sunday after that, I never bled in between periods so I knew something was up, fingers crossed x

Hi, i had it with both my pregnancies. The first time round i thought it was my AF and didn't find out i was pregnant until i was already about 10 weeks gone. 2nd time round i knew i was pregnant two weeks before my AF was due. Both times it was like a mini period that only lasted for a couple of days two weeks before my AF. Good luck!!
