TTC July 24!

Hey everyone! After 4 years we've decided to try for baby no 2! But it feels like such a long time ago now, I can hardly remember the ttc process anyway, finished my lmp a couple of days ago and started ovulation testing! Wondering if anyone's in the same boat this month? Hoping for an April '15 baba!:)

@Moomoo20 I remember getting crampy and convinced my period was going to show up when I conceived my first so fingers crossed it's your body doing the thing!

I've always had a pretty normal period no spotting before etc, but ever since we've been ttc for the last 7 months, I have spotting which can come 4 days or so before my period starts. It's like my body is tricking me into thinking it's an implantation bleed and I get all excited then AF comes full force 🥲

How old is your first?

I'm prob not going to be able to symptom spot because since I stopped bf my first I've had a return of Hyperemesis symptoms with my period 😭 so 48 hours before my period starts I'll get light spotting and nausea, 24 hours before I start vomiting and the period shows up. First couple months it happened I thought I was pregnant when I wasn't ready to be 😅
My first is 2 now and I would have liked to have started trying a few months ago but it took ages to get an appointment to get my coil removed and then it was missing and then surgery so... Been a long road to get here!

Oh no seems like quite the journey, Shame you had to go through that. My little one is 4 this year so I feel way behind lol. When I put him to bed tonight I had the worst stabbing pain in my left side it was so strange. If it wasn't implantation then I'm worried at what it could be as it was proper stabbing pain that lasted like 2 mins.

@Moomoo20 ohh fingers crossed it's implantation... Would this line up with your cycle?

It would as I was 9dpo which is around the time for implantation but as I said I've had 'symptoms' every month to the point I've been 100% convinced I'll pregnant some months, then I'm not. So any symptoms mean nothing to me now 😂

I've got for internet cheapy tests in and I'm refusing to let myself get any good tests as when TTC my first I became obsessed with peeing on sticks 😅😂
Also trying not to think of how many dpo I am and obsess over symptoms as well

Yes I would say today is your first peak so you will most likely ovulate within the next 24/48 hours. Goof that you dtd today and yesterday I would try again for today/tomorrow if you can for luck 🤞

Ok I hate myself haha but I don't have any pregnancy tests and randomly decided to do an opk even though I'm 11dpo and my period is due in two days. I was surprised how dark it is. I've heard that opks can pick up hcg, anyone had this before. Alternatively it could just be a rise in lh before my period comes

Ok so looking back at previous opk results on my app, in March I had the same dark opk a couple of days before period came. I'm guessing it's due to a surge of lh before my period, think I'm out this month :(

Ok update, I took another opk this afternoon and it's very negative 😂. I can feel period bellow coming, I'm out this month girls.

@Moomoo20 it's not a sure thing until aunt flo arrives 🤞🏼I've heard of people having LH surges around implantation.

Me: I'm not going to symptom spot, it's too difficult with the HG symptoms before my period

Also me: Googles Extreme fatigue 2/3 dpo 🤦🏼

Why am I like this 😂😂
Had a wave of fatigue this afternoon, hit me from nowhere. Took the little out for a bit, went for a walk, had lunch and then couldn't keep my eyes open and passed out on the sofa for a couple hours (dad was home this afternoon so little wasn't unattended!!)

Aw I have total pregnancy belly and bloated with cramps so AF is definitely on the horizon .

A 2 hours nap sounds like a dream!!! I had my little one at gym class earlier than we went to soft play and spent the rest of the day at the park, I'm utterly exhausted 😩 feel like I have zero energy today. I swear if asleep on the sofa for even 2 mins my husband would be waking me straight up 😂 (or my 3 year old) never get a chance to rest. Makes me sacred the thought of being pregnant and sickness with a 3 yo to run around after lol

@Moomoo20 I was very lucky dad was home as he isn't usually!
I am dreading getting pregnant and having to deal with the toddler who seems to have utterly boundless energy, especially if I get HG again. I just have to tell myself it's worth it and I want another 😂
I'm still exhausted and can't wait to get into bed.

Entering the fertile window, so here's to another 5 days of fun and 2 weeks of torture! 🥂😅

@mountainhighhh just a few days ahead of you over here. Expecting ovulation today or tomorrow. Due to complete on our new house 2 weeks on Friday so hoping the frantic packing will distract from the torture 😬

@PlantEnthusiast I'm similar to you, positive opk yesterday so assuming ovulation will be today.

Interesting what someone put in here about googling post ovulation extreme fatigue I practically napped all day today and been in a tired haze! Obviously I've been trying for ages now during this TWW I'm already convinced I'm pregnant but going to not test til 10DPO if I keep strong 🙌🏼 good luck everyone!

@justloveandlightx did you get a BFP?

3dpo here I think - ran out of OPKs on CD13 and hadn’t seen a peak yet, should have ovulated around CD14. Slightly panicking that I haven’t and we’ve missed our chance this month.

@Kiwiburgh how are you doing? Looks like my temp is starting to rise this morning so I’m hopeful everything is as it should be. I had a chemical last month so wasn’t sure how this cycle would be!

@omghavingababy sorry to hear about your loss. Everything crossed that this is your month 🤞🏼

@Amber17 my peak usually comes on very fast so chances are you did ovulate when expected. Have you been tracking long?

Cd 9 here not due to ovulate until around CD 18. This cycle feels so long!

So AF came today 😢 Years of trying so I should be used to it but I’m not.
I’ve tried everything, tracking, OPKs, BBT, all the supplements and IVF. So I think what I’m going to do now is start a TTC Aug 24 thread (if there isn’t already one) and see if it brings me any luck!
