Hey girlies,

this has been a stressful couple of days and just looking for some chat and opinions. On Tuesday (9dpo or 10dpo) at 1am, I woke up in agony and having to go to the toilet. Was awful, had period like cramps for over three days now. So Tuesday, I came home from work and had some brown discharge, sometimes had an orange tint, but only when I try to go to the loo. On Tuesday evening, I did a frer and digi first response, got a yes and a faint positive, then did another frer the next morning which was a bit more noticeable. Yesterday, I did a Clearblue digital which said 1-2 weeks. My frer came this morning so I think I’m at least 12dpo and yeah, line was starting to show quite quickly and dried in a nice pink colour at the 3 min mark… I do think this is a bit light?

1st pic- Tuesday
2nd pic - today

I was expecting it to be so much darker, I’m due my period tomorrow or Sunday. I am pregnant right now, but I’m just worried that it won’t stick ☹️

And I’m still very light brown spotting. Boobs are less sensitive but still v veiny.

Looks good to me op 👍 congratulations! You are pregnant. I understand the worry and have been there, but your lines are progressing nicely, and everyone's darken at different rates. Hopefully as time goes on you'll be able to allow yourself to feel the joy and excitement ❤️ but I completely get the worry and have been there x

Thank you @MotherOfShihTzus for your lovely reply.

it is stressful, wish I never tested so early! Before mmc, I just tested like oh yay pregnant. It’s amazing how it changes u and u focus on the stuff that could go wrong.

i did take another one this afternoon (bottom test), which has made me feel a little better. I should try and just enjoy this for now 💖

Hoping anyone is about :( I have spent this weekend so miserable and upset, convincing myself this isnt a viable preg ☹️ I’m either 15dpo or 16dpo, but my test are not getting darker and I’m just so stressed. I have booked a private scan on a week on Sunday..

I know no one can tell me what is going to happen, I wish they could tho!!! Would u say these tests are staying the same ?

top one 28th (13/14 dpo)
middle 29th (14/15 dpo)
bottom today (16/17dpo)

have also attached cheapies x

Tonight is the last time I am testing, it won’t stop anything that is gonna happen.. and it won’t be long till my scan, so I keep telling myself x

Scan for reassurance - but those definitely look darker to me.

Basically you'll know if you miscarry. Either through bleeding or a scan. Pregnancy tests aren't meant to be used as progressive lines... They're not set up for that. So don't use them for that. You're pregnant - congratulations :)

If you're worried book a few extra reassurance scans during the pregnancy

lily0309 · 01/07/2024 17:50

congratulations!! your tests are definitely looking good!

IMO it's way too early for a scan, you might not see or hear anything yet which would trigger even more anxiety. I was always told to wait until at least 6 weeks for a scan

I would suggest a blood test instead, to measure your hcg levels

Lmcx · 01/07/2024 17:59

I burst out crying reading these girls, but in a good way.. I feel really alone right now in this ☹️ I always think the worst…

but I defo think a scan is the only way, I know I’m not the only woman that drives herself nuts with this so it’s all very reassuring and what I have found, it can go either way with line progression!!

when I booked scan, I put in dates for LMP and first pos preg test, I was able to book it on the 14th, so I’ll be 6w 1d. I just want to make sure that, if it is there, that it is growing in the right place.

thank you again xx

ah okay that's perfect then if you'll be 6 weeks when you do the scan. I'm sure all will be well!!

In the meantime, if you need some reassurance earlier than the 14th, ask your gp for a pregnancy blood test, your hcg levels will be measured and you'll be reassured that they are within the normal healthy range 🙏

Lmcx · 01/07/2024 18:05

Thank you @lily0309 , I will do that. I will defo post back an update, praying it’s a positive one xx
