Clear blue advanced ovulation help

I got a static smiley on the 17th June, the test strip didn't look positive. I took another test with a different holder the next day and the test strip was positive.
Was the 17th my surge and 18th my peak?
Does this mean I ovulated on the 18th or 19th? Not that it really matters but I'm curious.

If I remember correctly the idea of the static smiley is that within the next 24-48 hours you’ll hit your peak.
If you’re testing daily with the clear blue kit then you’ll notice the build up with the circle and the flashing smiley face so you’ll know it’s coming soon.
