Flo app dates

Hi all,

When guessing your DPO, do you just count it from when the Flo App suggests your peak is, or the number on "if you're pregnant" which is based on the last day of your fertile window?

I.e. peak Ov predicted 16th June. Still 'high chance' on 17th/18th. Fertile window was 12-18th.

Would you say today is 10dpo, or 8dpo 🤔
Period due 1st July.

Thanks

Commenting cos I have the exact same cycle on flo too 😂 from what I’ve been doing (could very well be wrong), I use the date in the dotted circle as my peak, and the day after as ovulation, and the day after that the last day the egg could still be viable. Although I did LH testing this month and it showed my peak as the 14th, so I ovulated earlier than flo predicted. I would suggest buying some cheap LH strips if you can - you can get a pack of 25 on amazon for less than £10 x

Yeah I think I'll wait and see, and buy some ovulation strips if this isn't my month 🤭🤭

Have you tested yet?

I have, I try to resist and wait for day of expected period but never end up waiting that long lol. Unfortunately BFN, could technically be still too early but I’m not holding out much hope for that anymore, hopefully the next one is it for me! Wishing you the best with it x

@Dullblue1234 would totally recommend ovulation strips!

If I’d gone by Flo we’d have been doing most of our DTD at totally the wrong time as I actually ovulate way later than Flo says. It generally doesn’t have too much info to go on and tends to guess your ovulation day based on a ‘typical’ 28 day cycle, with ovulation being on day 14.

Fingers crossed for you! 💜

Ahh thank you!
It was right for me with baby 1, so thought I'd try it again. I also track CM so use that as a guide 🤞🤞
If unsuccessful this time, I'll get some strips 🥰

Ignore ignore ignore is my only advice on the Flo app! It has many great features but do not rely on the app to tell you when you ovulate.
I could have saved myself so much heartache if I'd realised this sooner.

It's based off a perfect cycle so it's only an estimate and everyone is different in reality. I would recommend trying to get in tune with your body and noting things like ovulation cramps, cervical mucus quality and when you feel 'in the mood' can all be great signs. I also found doing a few cycles of ovulation tests to be helpful. That way you can pinpoint when ovulation happens for you. That app had me following the wrong ovulation days for a year🤦🏼‍♀️ More fool me and I know it sounds stupid but I trusted it. Best of luck!!
