The impact of CP on the following cycles

For the post CP cycle, my body failed to ovulate twice and succeeded on the third attempt.

Currently I am on CD17 of the second cycle. It seems CP is still affecting this cycle a bit because my body failed to ovulate yesterday on its 1st attempt.
So I wonder if anyone has had similar experiences on the following cycles.
Any BBT charts and TTC after CP experiences would be appreciated!

What do you mean ovulate on the first attempt? You only ovulate once per cycle? You may release more than one egg but you only ovulate once per cycle…?

I only ovulate once per month.
My LH level rose and fell twice last cycle but the test line was always fainter than the control line. Finally I got the peak on its third attempt - the test line was darker than the control line.
That is what I meant by "failed to ovulate".

It sounds like it’s could be test inconsistency - testing at different times, with different times of urine (first wee of the day, vs 2nd 3rd etc), and lighting. I’ve had a few myself where I’ve done them like half an hour later than the previous day, on a 3rd wee rather than 2nd, and had a lower result. As long as you’re getting the peak that’s the main thing. I haven’t had a CP but have had an ectopic 2 cycles ago, and had my period only 2 days later than expected for the first cycle after. This cycle I think I’m going to have my period earlier than expected. Still within my normal range as I have a 29-34 CD range, with most being 31. So, for me I would say within the first cycle, but it can take a few months for others too

For this cycle, consistency of the test results is the priority so I drink little liquid after 5 p.m. and always use FMU. I have been testing LH with FMU every morning so I could tell LH was gradually increasing then decreasing. The ones I did in the afternoons were fainter because of the lighting and the amount of liquid I drank in a day so I don't include them.
I am glad that your body is back to normal after an ectopic (I am sorry). I didn't realise CP could still affect me a bit in the second cycle. 😅
