I have an 8 month old DS, and have been ttc #2 for the last couple of months. Got my much wanted BFP this morning and now I'm terrified and worrying that we've rushed in to it.

Does anyone else have a small age gap and have any positive stories?

Hi. My son was 5 months old when I found out I was pregnant again. Such a natural reaction to be scared. I wasn’t trying and I will be honest I cried my eyes out. It was hard work I can’t lie and when people ask how it was I can’t actually remember fully. I’m f you have good support you will be fine. Mine are 11 & 12 now and play with each other. However fight a lot 😂 good luck and remember your normal to feel how you do x

Twice 😂
DD1 was 4 months old when I conceived DS1.
DS1 was 3.5 months old when I conceived DD2 (a bit of a shock..I was on the mini pill!)
So ended up with three children in 2 years and 3 months!

It was fine. Exhausting, but fine. I actually went on to have a 4th, 3 years later !

They are all adults now, very close and great fun and having them so close together made life tiring but easier in many ways. They enjoyed the same activities, they almost toilet trained themselves as they copied DD1, and they always had eachother to play with.

Don't panic... :)

Hey OP, there are exactly 12 months between me and my younger sister - we couldn’t be closer, I adore our small age gap. We’ve always been into the same things which made activities, days out, playing together when little so easy.

And now we’re adults we seem to hit the same life milestones at the same time with is really special. Good luck!
