Would this class as spotting?

Hello,
I spot quite regularly before I’m due my period (not due till next Thursday)- I’ve been trying to help change that (supplements, raspberry leaf tea, Brazil nuts, aspirin, pomegranate juice- lots of things tried!) as I have been diagnosed with a thin lining so spotting is not a good thing for me…

just wondering if this would class as spotting to people- it’s very light, a discolouration but definitely something there. I’m worried it’ll turn into something more- I only have it when I wipe and sometimes not even then, only if I a bear down a little. I don’t have cramps but I feel like I have trapped wind and haven’t been able to stop going to toilet all day (bowel movements). Sorry for the images but any opinions would be greatly appreciated.

thank you in advance! :)

Can't see any spotting personally, which is good based on what you wrote.

Have they offered progesterone for thin walls? Good much either way

@Outliers thank you very much for
your reply.
I never know whether to log it as spotting or not when something is there but it’s not quite blood.

No offer for progesterone… I did enquire about it with my FS but she said no. I then got a progesterone test done at my GP surgery on CD5 and all was fine. Unfortunately my GP isn’t great and I’m having to wait till next month for a later blood test to check progesterone, as they didn’t bother booking in a test for a later CD.

Hopefully I won’t need it and this cycle will be our lucky one. Thanks for the kind words.

That’s definitely spotting, could it be implantation spotting though? Or would that not be good for you? I’m keeping my fingers crossed for you! X

MissEmily5 · 24/06/2024 13:40

@Duckgirl yeah, I thought this one might be spotting- I’ve logged it down.

I’ve never been pregnant before but I started spotting this year (sometimes days and even a week before my period) so I doubt it’s implantation bleeding. I’m a bit pessimistic about these things now- this is my 10th cycle now (the year mark looming large!).

Thank you for your response though and your kind words :)

I’m right here with you on body struggles. Not the same but my own crap. Coming up to the year mark also. It’s so very very hard. Sending love to you! X

@Duckgirl I’m sorry to hear you’re going through your own struggles too. You never think it’ll happen to you do you? My OH also has discovered he has a low count- double whammy.
I hope we both get our BFP very, very soon. Sending love to you too x

I’m loosing my periods pretty quick and my other half also has low count. Oh lady we are really in a similar boat. Yes!! Let’s keep it all crossed for each other. I have friends who were told no to kids and now have 3, naturally!!

MissEmily5 · 24/06/2024 16:50

@Duckgirl mine have gone haywire this year- a couple of months ago I had a cycle that lasted 47 days, very cruel. When you know you’re not pregnant and you want the chance to try again but then your periods disappear, it’s heartbreaking. I hope they start behaving for you soon! Has the doctor done anything to help?

hows your OH about it? Mine gets so in his head about it, despite me having issues he’s so hard on himself. We’re lucky in the fact that he has good morphology and motility.

But I do wonder who’s problems are causing the BFN each month- I wish TTC was like tracking a parcel so you could see which hurdle you’re failing at so you could focus on that 😂😂

Most definitely have everything crossed- your friends are the goals! Emotionally trying to prepare myself for IVF though- I feel exhausted thinking about it. X

This is so weird how similar we are, so did I. Had a ton of spotting for like 18 days as well. Had all the symptoms of early pregnancy with stark bare bfn so was not. Since then they are so light I don’t have to use anything more than a liner and they are gone within hours. I’m scared our chances are over. I’m 33.

it’s so awful isn’t it. I find myself looking for answers anywhere but knowing nothing will truly answer it. It’s so heartbreaking. My partner is cool as a cucumber. I don’t think it worry’s him. He has a mind of it will all be alright in the end.

i don’t test anymore as it hurts so much everytime. If I do ever get pregnant I’ll be 2 odd months I recon before I’m brave enough.

sending much love. This journey is not for the faint of heart.
