hi all.

i am on my first round of clomid 50mg.
i have a two year old son who I conceived naturally first time and I now have been told I have pcos and do not ovulate.
i am on my first cycle of clomid and I had a follicle scan which showed a 11.8mm dominant follicle on cycle day 10.
i am now on day 16 and have been testing since finishing my period and
on say 14 i got a flashing smiley face on thr OPK but the lines aren’t changing much they’re staying the same.
i am concerned i wont ovulate even tho i am getting cramps and twinges in my ovaries. I just really want to see the still smiley face.
anyone have any advice on why this could be that my opk are not increasing but i feel symptoms.
i dont know if I should ask for another scan or just wait it out.

i am attaching the photos of the easy at home and the clear blue lines

thanks!!
maryam

Both of my babies were conceived using clomid, I didn’t have scans, I only had blood tests. My best advice would be to ditch the ovulation tests, just dtd every other day from the day you finish your period until your next one (if that’s possible) and stop watching it daily. My dr told me that ovulation tests aren’t always that accurate when you have PCOS anyways, how true that is I don’t know.
I absolutely know how hard it is, but the tests won’t change whether you do or don’t ovulate.
with my first I conceived 2nd round at 50mg, second was 4th round on 100mg (both days 2-5) fingers crossed for you though! ☺️ x

Thank you!
yes thats what my husband has been telling me to not stress it too much. I am concerned about the cramping though that’s normal right?
yesterday it was on the right side and today its on the left its like slight twinges.

I think cramps and twinges are totally normal, maybe just keep an eye on it, if it gets bad then give your clinic a call and just talk it through with them, but as a whole it sounds normal x
