Hi all, I had a transvaginal scan for suspected pcos. I am around 6dpo and wondered if the sonographer would be able to see pregnancy this early on? If they can would they likely tell you? Thanks in advance x

I don't think anything can been since until week 6 or 7 even in TV scan.

An egg implants between 6 and 12 dpo so might not have even implanted yet

They might be able to see which follicle you ovulated from (if you did), but certainly not a pregnancy within days of conception! The earliest anything can be seen would be from 5 weeks onwards, and even then, its mm, so absolutely tiny.
I had a scan at 4+6 due to pain. They could see a tiny streak, which was assumed to be the foetal pole, but she said its not a guarantee that is what it was. I was scanned a week later and more could be seen. best of luck.

Thanks all I did think it would be way too soon. Still holding onto some hope for this cycle🤞
