Ovulation kit weirdness - please help!

Hi I'm new - and really having trouble understanding all the acronyms so sorry for the longhand! Really lovely to find so many people in the same boat on this talkboard.

Can anyone help? I've been ttc#1 for 16 months and have been using ovulation sticks. I seem to have a regular 27/28 day cycle and ov around day 13/14 - until this month when I showed High Fertility on day 8 and have ever since - it's now day 19. This has never happened before. Could I be preg? But seems that I haven't ovulated this month so how could i be? Any advice welcome, just can't stand all this waiting and wondering! Going nuts! Thanks so much.

You'll soon get the hang of the acronyms. Are you using OPKs or do you have a monitor? I'm not sure why you could be getting so many high days but it's not long until you can test .
There are lots of us TTC OVER HERE so feel free to join. They are a bunch of lovely ladies!

hi tm2, are you using clearblue fertility monitor? cos that is the one that i use.

if this is the one you use, i think, if you keep getting all highs, then it could be due to the stick being too wet, or the testing time wrong?

i feel for you - i know how frustrating it is

i am on dy14 and just got my high, looks like i will only have 1 high followed by peak.

Yes am using clearblue monitor and usually I get 2 high days, 2 peak days then 1 more high day and that's been the same every month so far, but this month has been really odd. Maybe I am doing it wrong! Don't want to waste more sticks as they're so costly but do want to know whether I'll keep getting high days or not. Anyway I will check out the other thread as also want to know if I should be taking my temp etc and lots of other questions. This whole process is so torturous but at least I'm not alone!
