Ovulation help/cycles/coil

Hi, I had the Mirena coil removed 11/06/24 as my husband and I would like to try for a baby (I have 5yo already).

I had been tracking periods/light periods via Flo so had an idea of what was happening pre coil removal but I am really new to trying to track my cycle for conception.

I have started doing ovulation tests to get an idea on when I could be ovulating and it's just making me more confused with lines and how dark they are etc.

Since having the coil removed I have been experiencing wild crying outbursts, back ache, cramps, acne but no bleeding whatsoever and I'm not 'due' for another week and a half.

I have attached my ovulation strips and my cycle on Flo and just wondering if someone could shed some light on what I need to do/what might be happening etc. Thank you 🙏

Looks to me like you ovulated on the 17th, (the middle test strip is darkest) and are now back on the downswing

Hi! Thank you for responding. I thought the same but after in-depth googling, I saw that unless the line is EXACTLY the same colour as the test line, it wasn't positive. I didn't have sex on that day but did the day before and the day after but I fear I missed it due to google 🤣🤣🤣
I'm waiting for my period now, my bloat and nausea has subsided loads!

My ovulation test strip was basically transparent today as well so I think it must have definitely peaked on the 17th 🤦‍♀️

Don't get too hung up on the test strip. In my experience they can cause women to have sex a bit too late in their cycle. Sperm can live for several days inside your body and its always better to have the sperm already there waiting on the egg to arrive vs the other way round. So having sex the day before was great! Try to start having sex on day 12 just incase you ovulate early next month. Good luck!!!

Hey!

I just wanted to share that AF arrived and I started again.

This month, I received my first positive OPK but also, 3 days after my predicted ovulation (w/flo app).

I changed the cycle length in the app and it said ovulation was today. I have no idea what that means or what I'm doing but I'm just going to try and go with the flow now.
