One step tests- experience?

Hello,
I am having a nightmare with faint lines on one step tests. I then got a very dark line straight away but negative straight after and since. I’m starting to think it was a faulty test. What are other peoples experience with them?

*negative on other branded tests.

I bought a pack of these off Amazon and I'm getting all negatives, I'm on holiday so not got another test to compare it too but it says 5 days early which I'm not sure I believe now. I did go back onto Amazon reviews and there was quite a lot of mixed reviews on tests not being real or giving false positives :(

But it also may be that you have a genuine pack and as it's an early test it isn't showing on others yet. Maybe try in 2 days?

It’s so confusing! I kept getting faints but put it down to indents I then got this dark line straight away which then faded by the end of the day (I will try to attach a picture) and then the same day and ever since negative ! I have a feeling it may be dodgy tests as no other brand is positive. So heartbreaking for those TTC.

Yes I will just wait it out now. Im a bit cautious about them due to the reviews too so trying to not get my hopes up!

Have you tried any other early test ones? How many dpo are you?

one step are my go to and they’ve always been accurate for me. got a positive around 7dpo which was early but accurate i’m now 6 weeks.

I know on the packet they’re 10mL so they’re sensitive. Could it be the other brands you’re trying are 25mL and so aren’t picking up as yet? how many dpo are you?
