Can I see TWO different consultants or am I just being greedy?

am back up to LWH next monday for a follow up appt after my last mc. the problem is the last time we were there they made it clear that they werent going to do anything. my mcs were so early that it would have been "fate" rather than a problem. so basically, keep trying, relax (ha) and call them when I am pg again.

the old consultant (for whom dh still hadnt done one of his sperm tests) was going to prescribe clomid til i got up the pole (to sort out my irregular lp) then take it from there, I had my HSG done under RSH along with all of my blood tests.

LWH isnt testing dh at all, i realise that the problem is probably (almost definately) with me but im a bit surprised that they arent even checking him for chromosonal probs or the quality of his boys.

can we go back to RSH for dh's tests and the clomid while still seeing LWH for things like the early scans?

Hello,

If they are looking at different areas, 1. care during pregnancy and 2. getting pregnant, it sounds like it would be perfectly reasonable to see them both.

Are you concerned that you are not meant to be under the care of two consultants?

yes. we were referred to LWH after much fighting because of the recurrent mc's but RSH dealt with me after my ep which obviously affects your subsequent fertility. im not convinced that my ovulation is regular iyswim

No problem . It sounds fine to me. Lots of people see several specialists for different aspects of the same health problem, so fertility shouldn't be any different.

Sorry you've had such a hard time and that everything goes well with the treatment.
