TW mention of MC. Has anyone experienced a very faint positive on strip but negative on CB early digital?

Hi everyone. Feel like I'm going mad here.
Sadly had a MC last month and subsequently tested negative. Went on holiday with my DH and we BD a lot! (it had been a while given my pregnancy + MC!). I felt a left sided twinge one day whilst we were away so did an LH test and to my surprise it was positive! (I hadn't had my first period post MC yet).

Anyway, fast forward to today and I feel like I can see a very faint line on the tests below, BUT I went and bought a clear blue early detection digital and that's negative??
Any advice? I know really the answer is I just need to be patient and wait a few more days (think I'll only be 9 days post ovulation today)

It's one of two things,:

  • you're testing far to early to get a positive test on digital. When your period is or late is the best time for a test.
  • It's an evaporation line (i.e the faintest line you see after taking test, but does not siesta indicate a positive test).

Good luck

Any update on this? Did the line get darker?

No it didn't and now I'm spotting so think it was just my imagination. Need to be a bit more patient with myself as this will be my first period post MC but it's so much easier said than done

@catmum7717 ah sorry to hear that but I guess your body is still recovering. It’s hard not to stress and be patient but I hope everything turns out 🤞

Hi hope you’re ok your timeline is similar to mine give it chance keep an eye on your spotting to make sure it is a period as you never know fingers crossed for you. I’ve vowed to not test until after a my missed period but who knows when that will be. How long are your cycles usually? Mine are 28 days so I shouldn’t be far off if it goes back to normal straight away I read many people spotting for implantation or whilst the body resettles. Wish we had a switch!
