Advice on BBT

TTC conceive baby #1, second month tracking BBT, so I'm new to this, any advice would be greatly appreciated. This month app said I ovulated 3 days before I had a positive opk and ewcm, could the app be reading wrong? My OPK's were all negative that day, surely this can't be possible. Now I'm getting a very slow rise in BBT this month, compared to last month were BBT shot right up after O. I've attached both months.

I would say you ovulated CD 15, day of your peak as there was also a dip that day. With more BBT numbers and symptoms like EWCM It may move the date.

Thanks, that was what I was thinking too, and I physically felt more fertile on CD15 too if that makes sense. If I'd of followed the advice of the app, I would have completely got dbd timing wrong, I'm somewhat dubious about relying on BBT measuring now, opk seems to be more reliable maybe for me?

@RememberZen i had the same problem last month and this month I had Covid so very high temps leading up to O so only tracking since O. I went on OPKs and they line up with EWCM.
sometimes when it doesn’t go high enough after O it gets the day wrong but our temp can massively fluctuate.
im getting the highest BBTs this LP I ever have (attached) and browny discharge 6dpo but not getting my hopes up as BBT went down for second time today.

@RememberZen plot all your temps onto Fertility Friend (free) and see if it has the same O day. I’ve found it to be the most accurate one
