Peak but no CM

I was TTC for 12 years, finally got pregnant and lost my baby at 5 days old this year. I am now coming to TTC again and using the clearblue monitor, it has showed peak at CD16 but I have no cervical mucus at all. If anything I am always dry. I am not sure if this is related to the c section I had in January or what but I am worried it isn't normal. I just want to know if anyone else has had this and was still able to conceive.

@ambergallagher94 I’m so sorry to hear of your loss. I’ve just started TTC and also had a positive OPK and no CM. My temp also rose as expected a few days after my peak OPK so I’m reasonably confident all is fine. Not sure whether that’s entirely helpful, sorry!

Yeah before my loss I had CM but at random times of the month. I have also had a risen temp and my monitor shows peak but google tells you all the worst things when you try to look it up!

I'm so sorry for your loss. It might just be taking time for everything to return to normal after birth? I had surgical management in February for a MMC and before that I had plenty of cm but since then hardly any. This month I'm using preseed in the hope it helps as I've read lots of positive stories with it. Maybe worth giving that a try?

I am so so sorry to hear about your loss. I've heard expectorant cough medicines can increase CM and drinking grapefruit juice can also increase CM. I haven't tried either yet as I'm cycle 1 TTC no2 but that's what my crazy research has shown me. Good luck x
