Implant bleeding or period??

Hey, I'm new to all this, me and my husband have been trying for ages now... we had sex over the weekend, I was due on my period yesterday "it was just brown spotting for a couple hours" then today "it's really light pink discharge with brown again" could this be my period just being slow or implant bleeding? I have no idea?

If you’re late then I’d suggest taking a pregnancy test to double check.
For me brown spotting and then light pink discharge is usually the signs that the period is starting.

Implantation typically takes place 6-12days after ovulation (if egg is fertilised).
