Could this be viable?

Hi All!

Have been trying for 10 months with no signs of a BFP. I am still breastfeeding my 23 month old. I ovulated on the 22nd of May and had a tiny bit of spotting around 6/7 days later. I was on holiday at the time and was busy and didn't think much of it as I was so occupied but it not usual for me.

This morning I realised I had was 3 days late according to my clue App and thought it was probably because my little girl has been poorly on and off for a month and I've been breastfeeding her so much, especially during the night. I took a pregnancy test this morning with second day urine and I did drink a bottle of water through the night. Just wondered what you ladies think to this test? Do you think it could be a chemical pregnancy? Doesn't look dark enough for a 18DPO test surely? I have never had a chemical before either.

Those one step cheapies never got dark for me… i am nearly 6 weeks now :-) looks positive

I never got dark lines on those tests. I bet if you do a FRER it’ll be really dark.

Thanks for all of your replies! I will update you in the morning with a clear blue test with FMU! I'm actually more worried it could be an ectopic pregnancy more than anything but trying to not get ahead of myself. I've already had an ectopic rupture so heres to hoping all will be well!

Took two clear blue tests this morning and they are both positive!! The tests even match my holiday nails!! 🙈😂

It definitely hasn't sunk in yet! I barely have any symptoms apart from tiredness and being quite snappy! 🥴🙈 There's still plenty of time for symptoms yet!! 🤭😩😂😂

Unfortunately I have been having some bleeding. Started yesterday. It's only a tiny bit when I wipe mostly but have had a small amount leak out on a pad but it's not much at all as the moment. Cross your fingers for me! 🙏

Luckily I have a drs appointment in the morning so will see if they will send me up to the early pregnancy unit. Going by last period I am only 5 weeks and 1 day so will ask them to take bloods and see if the HCG tallies up with my dates.

@BabyBorn sorry to hear you had some bleeding, how’s it been going in the days since?

Hi @T0r11210 not good unfortunately. I bled really heavily on Saturday after spotting on Thursday and Friday. Going for a scan on Friday and I suppose it will just confirm everything I already know. I have never had such an early loss before so it came as a shock. Thanks for asking. X

@T0r11210 thanks so much. I will see on Friday but the line on the tests are barely visible now. I also saw something on the tissue when I was bleeding quite heavily the other day. X
