Hi all,

Just what the title says really. Anyone else in a similar position?

10dpo and got ANOTHER negative test today. I know it’s still early but the familiar feeling of disappointment has really gotten to me tonight.

Me too, this is my seventh cycle now. I have known fertility issues which only heightens my anxiety. I'm just so tired of the hope, the anxiety and the subsequent disappointment! Trying to stay positive is exhausting sometimes. I'm considering having a break from TTC for a couple months just so I can try not get too swept up in it. It's making me sad which is such a shame because it robs from my present life which is pretty good.

I have no advice but you aren't alone!

@Nessie2395 thank you so much for responding! That was like a virtual hug that I really really needed!

So true it’s bloody annoying but we’ll get there one way or another! Also considering a break! It also takes the fun away doesn’t it? That’s never a good thing! All that stuff they taught in school… I was scared stiff when I was a bit younger and it’s not quite as straightforward as they make out 😂

Oh OP I was you last month. Nine months of trying and getting negatives, tears and heartbreak. Finally in month 10 I got my first BFP. I’m currently 6 weeks pregnant now. Nothing I say to you will make you believe that it will happen for you too because I’d given up hope at this point. Sending you all the love and baby dust 💕💕

to add to my last comment .. the month we conceived I was sure we were out because we only had sex once and I cried before it because I was sick to death of it all. There is no rhyme or reason to any of it and it’s so shit!

Thing is you are most fertile in your teenage years, and the point of sex education in schools is to prevent teenage pregnancies. It does get harder as you age, but hopefully you get there before I do. 2.5 years and recurrent loss has made me numb to it all now. 8 months is a long time, as is a year or more. You will get there.
