Until I started TTC I always thought I was pretty clued up on biology and my body clock. Now I’m getting baffled by what I’m calling “conception maths”. I bought an early test pregnancy test (6 days before missed period) which for me would be CD 24. Tested and was negative. Then I’ve been reading that implantation typically doesn’t occur until 8-10 DPO which wouldn’t be until CD 25 at the earliest and according to the “when to test” calculator hcg wouldn’t be detected until CD 27! I’m sure the moral
of the story is to be patient and test later (easier said than done!) but am I the only one that finds it confusing? 😬
