BBT vs OPK or possible anovulation?

Hey TTC sisters, back again with another possible anovulatory cycle and I'm trying to get my head around it a bit. Google is throwing up the same results again and again and they don't quite match what I'm looking for.

Attached is my Premom chart and my FF chart for this month. Last month was my first AF 7.5 weeks post MMC. That first cycle only lasted 18 days and I did not ovulate though FF thought I did ovulate because a temp shift was detected on day 15. AF arrived 3 days later.

I'm now on CD16 and had positive OPKs on CD9 only, but no temp shift. Every other OPK has been very negative and I do them 3-4 times a day. I also use a CB advanced and CB monitor, both of which have been showing 'high' or a flashing smiley for days now. However, my temperature shifted drastically on CD15 without any surge on OPKs.

If this were your chart, which one would you trust? Anyone ever had something similar happen? Did you actually ovulate that cycle? Many thanks

Hmmm. Ovulation usually takes place between 12-48 hours after first positive OPK, and it can take a day or so for BBT to rise after you ovulate. I'd be thinking possibly ovulation late on CD11/early CD12?

I'm having similar frustrations with my chart this month, my positive OPK was early on CD14 but I didn't have any temperature rise till CD17. FF eventually decided I ovulated CD16 - I'm 6DPO (maybe!) today and have sent in progesterone bloods this morning so we'll see whether that's right.

Hope we both get answers soon and that your cycles straighten out a bit!

Thanks so much @blackberryhill, you know, that might actually make sense. I never thought of this that way or saw what that 12-48 hour window could look like. The surge was SO fast and a little earlier than usual for me. It had been and gone within an hour.

Good luck with those progesterone bloods! You saying that actually reminded me that I have a pack of Wondo Progesterone strips in the cupboard. I did one and it is positive, so I did ovulate! I'm shocked. Can't thank you enough for jogging my memory there. No matter what now I at least know I did ovulate.

I updated the FF and this is the new chart, so it puts me at 7DPO, so we are very close together! I have everything crossed for you for your blood results!

Update: in case anyone comes across this in future. I did, in fact, ovulate! I'm anxious as my last cycle only lasted 18 days and this is 9DPO. AF may be around the corner, however, can confirm I did ovulate
