Unprotected sex before coil fitting

I due to have my coil fitted tomorrow but have had sex and the condom broke. Will the fitting still go ahead? Or will the appointment be cancelled and the fitting won’t take place?

I'm pretty sure they will need to reschedule, I was asked to abstain for the last week before my fitting appointment to avoid this sanario.

Is it a copper or mirena coil? If it’s copper they can probably fit it as post coital contraception (unless risk of pregnancy from earlier in cycle) but if mirena they will almost certainly need to postpone.
