Ovulation after chemical 🌈

Hi

I had a chemical earlier this month. I did bleed for a few days longer than I normally would, but it wasn’t heavy or painful. I had clear BFP’s before the line began to fade so I know it was definately a chemical.

I am tracking my ovulation but I think my cycle is off to its normal. I just wondered if anyone who may have been in a similar position would mind sharing whether the chemical affected their ovulation?

Hi, I’m so sorry to hear about your chemical! It really sucks 😞

I had one in March and like you, my bleed was 2/3 days longer than my normal period. I then ovulated on CD14, compared to my normal ovulation day of 12 or 13, so only a little bit behind. I’ve had 2 more cycles since and both have been back to normal so hopefully it’s similar for you and there’s not too much disruption!

I’m ok thank you 😊 in the 2ww on cycle 4 at the moment, fluctuating between being hopeful and really deflated at the fact that it’s not happening. It’s so tough isn’t it!!

I had a CP last cycle and this cycle is a bit off!

initially I thought I ovulated earlier as CB digital gave me a static peak reading on CD13 but my e@h we’re still negative. Kept testing everyday still and they were up and down…

then cd30 I decided to test my LH stain it was positive and stayed really high (positive) for the next 2/3 days! I am now CD34 and it’s only just coming down. I plan on taking another test this evening to make sure!

I have heard that a surge could be pregnancy but I think I’m just ovulating later honestly.

I think I’m in the minority of my cycle being this off after a CP but my advice is just take it day by day! It’s easy to get caught up in always wondering when you will ovulate etc but it’s all out of your control!
