Progression lines… success stories please?

Hi ladies! First time BFP here 🫶🏽

I’m 15dpo and going slightly insane… I wasn’t sure about line progression yesterday so had a HCG which was 34 at 14dpo (on the lower side I know, obviously the range is huge) and am due for a repeat Sunday to look for progression, but of course I couldn’t not test (need someone to come and pinch all of my tests to save me from myself) and these are the progression pics.

I’ve found my second morning urine and afternoon urine are coming up with stronger lines, but would really love to hear any success stories from people with faint lines and lower bhcg?

Please be kind and know that I’m already aware of the potential negative outcomes, so would really appreciate only supportive/successful stories (or a pep talk to tell me to step away from the tests……..hah)

I know I should leave things be, and I’m planning not to test before Sundays blood test as I know that will give me a good idea of how things are progressing, but I’d really appreciate any words to help me get there!

Thanks 💖

All I would say, kindly, is that a darker line is not necessarily a sign of progression. Wait for the bloods.

Good luck 🤞🏻

Thanks WeeOrcadian, I know you’re right I just wish I had the sense and the patience to let things be 💖

Hello!

I’ve had multiple chemical pregnancies and my lines were never even close to your 12dpo. I think yours look great. I got a bfp this month and have had strong lines but I’m still worried! Not even of a chemical but of any time of miscarriage. It’s an awful feeling isn’t it xx

Thanks Rosiejj5 for your words and congratulations on your BFP! Such wonderful news!!

It’s so overwhelming, nobody prepares you for the mental toll it takes but hopefully one day we will both have our little angels in our arms and we can look back on this time and laugh at how dramatic it all was…

Sending you all the positivity 💖

Have you done a digital test?
i think you should see the words and then just leave it at that until proven otherwise.
Other wise you will drive yourself insane.
get your dp to hide them and distract yourself.

I have!
on 12 and 13dpo I did the clear blue digital ones which said Pregnant 1-2 weeks, I know I need to distract myself and have these tests taken away from me but it’s soooo hard feels like the only semblance of control I have at the minute..

but clearly it’s not doing anything positive for me! You’re right until proven otherwise what actually is the point in worrying 😫

firstly congratulations!

I think there are just too many tests there to assess progression. I completely understand the desire to keep testing and I’ve been doing the same, but just try to limit to once or twice a day max if you must test as so many factors are at play during the day such as hydration levels etc so doing it four times a day is just uninterpretable. As if your midday test is more dilute than your 9am it will obviously be lighter and that will just make you more stressed.

JunglePrint · 31/05/2024 18:29

Once they’ve dried they’re a bit meaningless really.

Take photos of them in a clear light, after five minutes. Then compare photos that are 48 hours apart (so compare 16dpo with 14dpo), not 24 hours apart. That is the way to assess progression. Good luck!

moosey89 · 31/05/2024 19:18

Respectfully, step away from the tests. You are stressing yourself out. HGC should around double every 48hrs, so you most likely won't see a noticeable change taking so many! Also, these tests are not designed to show progression. All you can do now is hold tight and hope all goes well (remember the stats are in your favour!)

Harriet1989 · 31/05/2024 22:31

I totally agree with PP, I get it as I did it with my first but I got so stressed out and now she's a healthy 5 year old. I'd have been so much better just stepping away!

sarahc336 · 31/05/2024 22:39

Those tests look fine to me op 😁

Eatsleepbakerepeat · 31/05/2024 22:55

I would say step away and wait for the bloods, don't want to be a Debbie downer but I was having my HCG checked and did tests to make sure I had progression, I gad great line progression but the HCG on my bloods hardly increased. Hopefully this isn't the case for you but just trying to say the tests aren't accurate for progression! 🤞🤞🤞 for your Sunday bloods, be kind to yourself these next few days, I know the anxiety of waiting for bloods all too well 💕

PottedCrab123 · 02/06/2024 12:06

Hi ladies!

Thanks all for your supportive words - I am awaiting my hcg results but, my tests are now turning lighter and my symptoms have gone down so I’m fairly certain this is now a chemical.

Any encouraging words of success after chemical would be much appreciated 💖

Sorry to hear that @PottedCrab123 💔
there are hundreds of anecdotal stories of people being extra fertile after a chemical so I really hope this is you.
