Faint positive at 11dp5dt - anyone had line succession from there?

I’ve had my OTD today at 11dpt with a 5 day fresh embryo (same sex couple doing intra-couple egg donation after three failed attempts with own eggs). I got a line but it took a while to develop. I’m still waiting to hear back from the clinic, but did anyone had a faint test like this that developed into a pregnancy? I am being realistic and consider myself out but interested to hear.

That's quite an obvious positive op, congratulations. I had a lighter test than that at 11dpo which went on to be a successful pregnancy.

Thank you @WonderingWanda but it’s 11dp a 5 day transfer, not 11dpo, so technically 16dpo.

@TheOpeningActofSpring is this the first test you have done this cycle? So do you know if it’s been getting lighter or darker?

I would ask your clinic for a beta blood test and test again same time tomorrow to see which direction the line is going, if it gets darker that’s a good sign. Sadly if it goes light that’s not so great.
But it’s hard to know very much at all from these pee sticks as a lot can impact the strength. And I wouldn’t loose sight of the fact that it is still a positive on test day so you don’t have much other info to write yourself off at this stage.

@AnnieStar12 yes it’s the first test so nothing to compare it to. Clinic advised to keep meds going and retest in 48 hours. Have ordered more tests and will see whether there is progression. I know really that there won’t be but it’s worth seeing it through.

Also, if it ends up not progressing I will still take the second line as an encouraging step after three failed transfers without any hint of a line.
