Beginning to think about bubba no.2 in the near future. DD is 7mths old and I have been exclusively breastfeeding happily and she has been on solids since 5 and half months. She is on 4 milk feeds a day and is having 3 small meals a day now.... I still haven't had a period so I have no idea whether I am ovulating or not. Read a bit on Kellymom but it got a bit scientific and I got a bit lost...... DO we just bonk lots and lots hoping to get lucky or can we work this out?????????

lol.

my dd3 is 11 mths yesterday and no period yet. We just gonna let mother nature take its course. That said, got fed up last time and weaned dd2 off breast at 15mths, dd3 conceived the next month!!

good luck, sorry not very constructive I know.

Hi Ilovenutella. I am in exactly the same boat - DD is 9 months old. I have read all the scientific stuff too, and am opting for the just bonking lots option, and hoping that we get lucky. (My husband thinks he's got lucky after about 18 months with a sex drought!) Let's hope it works!

haha - DH will also think he is in..... we have being doing pretty well but I think he is up for getting me preggers again for all the sex! I occasionally get PMS symptoms and period like cramps but no AF...... maybe I should pay a bit more attention to them!

I got pregnant while breastfeeding but was down to one feed a day (DD was 2)and had been having periods for a while although they had a longer cycle than usual...you might need to wait for period to return- this is the usual indicator that you're ovulating. Try dropping a feed and see what happens?
