First time on here, currently on month 2 of TTC (AF due tomorrow). I have 2 children already (9 and 6). Looking for some tips and advice. Any vitamins I should be taking? I know it's only month 2 but I can't cope with these negative tests already 🙈

Hi 👋 folic acid is the most important one so as long as you're taking that, you should be all good! I take the NHS Healthy Start vitamins which are the ones my midwife gave out for free when I was expecting my daughter. I've just continued buying them from the pharmacy - they've got Vit D, Vit C and folic acid in them. Good luck! Keeping fingers crossed for your BFP ❤️

Yes I'm taking that, I'm trying to lose weight too (nothing extreme, just making better lifestyle choices as I am on the plus side - I was with my other two too)

Folic acid and Vitamin D are recommended. Otherwise it’s much better to get nutrients from your diet. It’s normal to take a year - and don’t test til your period is late!

@Bluebell91 I’m also new to Mumsnet & ttc #1. Had my implant removed on 14/05/24 and never been so impatient in my life - no sign of AF yet but it may just be my hormones regulating. I’m 29 and partner is 31. We’ve said we stay relaxed and are just DTD every other day but I can’t help symptom spotting/reading everything on MN!

Did AF arrive for you? When will you be testing next?

I thought it arrived Tuesday, but it was very light and stopped today (4days later) I just did a test and I can see a line but I don't trust these tests after reading the reviews. I'm going to test again in the morning. I came off the pill on march so it's only our 2nd month of trying.
