12dpo and cramps

Hi! Looking for some last minute hope I guess so here goes….

I’m 12dpo today and have had what feel like AF cramps since waking this morning. I’ve had some mild twinges and pinching on and off since ovulation (although I do have adeno so never know if they are down to that, and previous cycles have had mild twinges) and I guess I’m just wondering if this has been the case for anyone else and ended up having a BFP?

Only other symptoms this month were slight increase in cm (still small amounts but usually I’m completely dry) and sore boobs since 10dpo (but again this is also consistent with AF) so nothing very promising.

I am due today and usually will see bleeding in the evening so all signs point to AF but just wanting to hear any other positive stories?

I had all the usual PMS symptoms before my BFP (ended in a chemical but it was still a + test!).

I would take a digital test and then at least you know (I got my BFP on 12dpo with the CB early one with the light on top) 😇 xx

I try to hold off testing as I can’t bare the disappointment when it’s negative, instead I’m writing to strangers on the internet to hold out hope 😂 it’s much nicer then facing the reality of a likely negative! X

@NoMoreBets thank you! And yes we went straight back to it. Just used the first day of bleeding as CD1 but I think I missed my LH surge by mucking about with the strips (aka, not taking them properly but oh well 😂)!

I know what you mean! Having the words ‘not pregnant’ is infuriating 😂

but i also had really sore boobs (they get sure for PMS anyway) but they were really heavy and hurt when I walk. I also found my appetite to be really up and down (full up quickly as well) and just my usual bellyaches in the run up to AF appeared. I normally spot a few days before too and that didn’t show up but I was taking a test everyday out of excitement as it was my first month TTC 😂

this time around I’m only taking it a few days after AF is due if it doesn’t appear! 🤞🤞

I’m also a bit of a spotter and nothing yet but I just feel like these pelvic pains today feel so much like period cramps that AF is going to show tonight or tomorrow!

@NoMoreBets you never know! If AF doesn’t show up this evening, will you test or hold off?

I’m about 7dpo, if I even ovulated at all! I’m a late ovulater (CD21) and have a 32 day cycle normally! If no sign of AF by Sunday, I’m going to do a test which puts me at about 13DPO 😬

the waiting is all consuming and I’m only on cycle 2 😂 fed up of it already

I’m going to hold off I think (or atleast try)… it didn’t show last night but I’ve just checked my natural cycles who think I actually may have ovulated a day later so technically only on 12dpo now so we will see… it’s torture not testing but it’s also torture having the negative test!! Such limbo hahaha

Yeah I know and I’m so impatient! I’m on cycle 4 now but my cycles are quite long so the wait is insane 🤯

Oh thanks for your response! Did they feel like period pains? The period pains seem to have settled a little, weirdly I would have never even had me down as a period pain kind of person (just more light twinges) but yesterday was more.. hard to say if it’s just because I am hyper aware though!

Did you ever have any changes in your CM? X

Rooting for you and all the signs seem good! Maybe test at the end of the week if nothing shows?

I used all my cheap tests last month so I have zero in the house so the temptation isn’t there 😰 will order some off Amazon on Friday so I am ready for Sunday FMU! Just dreading going to the toilet in case I start spotting.

yes, so jealous of people who have shorter cycles and are 14dpo around the time I am about 2dpo 😂!

the wait is so consuming and I just find stuff to keep myself busy so I stop thinking about it!

After writing this message to you about how I wasn’t going to test, I went to the toilet and did a test and am completely shocked to see a BFP…… can’t quite believe it. Very cautious as it’s early days but if this is true this is my first pregnancy 😭💖

The easy at home pink ones - I also did the LH test for easy at home too as I’d read that HCG can mimic LH so wanted to see if that came up and it did…

I’m very cautious so going to buy some better tests and keep an eye on things to see if there is progression.

What do you think? Xx

that’s a strong line! My 12dpo was nowhere near as dark as that for my CP!

Yeah the LH is a lot darker than my norm, usually it’s a super light line!

I was just coming on to say that I had a lot of cramping the night before my bfp too 😁
The cramping continued for a while, but it was nothing to worry about and I'm now 37 weeks today 😊
