Clear symptoms but negative test?

I really need some advice.
me and my husband have been TTC for 6 months now.

I am 2 days officially late for my period and I’m never normally late. I’m like clockwork and have been for years!!

I am really bloated, constipated, getting light cramps on one side of my abdomen and sometimes centre. I also feel nauseous every so often.

So with all of that and being late on my period, I decided to test with clear blue, which I believe are the early detection. One on Wednesday and one yesterday. Both negative but I really do not understand. I am almost certain something is different especially with the missed period.

Has this happened to anyone else and they turned out to be pregnant? Should wait to test again? I am so lost and a little scared to be honest.

Honestly it sounds a little like pms symptoms to me. Sorry OP 😔

Hi Op,

I had this exact same thing happen to me a while ago. I was convinced I was pregnant with my symptoms plus AF was late. But BFN. Turned out I was just late by 4 days even though I'm like clockwork normally.

Are you sure of when you ovulated?? You could of ovulated late of course 🤞🏼

I think you'd be testing faintly positive by now if you were pregnant.

Hi OP, I think a clear blue would of very probably picked up pregnancy by the time your period is late. It is so difficult when you've been trying for a few months, everything feels like a symptom.

Well, I guess I should not get my hopes up then.

I follow Flo app which shows my ovulation and periods. It’s never been wrong. I don’t know, it just seems frustrating that my body only just decided to make my period late for the first time during TTC. Never mind. Thanks all.

You know you can occasionally not ovulate which might of put your period out a bit. I feel for you it's difficult, I even googled 'can a nose bleed be a symptom'

Unfortunately I’ve had both symptoms and no symptoms and I’ve been both pregnant and not- there’s no pregnancy symptoms that don’t also mean af - it’s just progesterone and I guess some months we get more of a surge
i would expect a positive by 12dpo, if not I assume I’m out for that month

Do you use anything else to actually track ovulation, more so than just the Flo app? It would be dead wrong for me if I did track my BBT. I have regular periods and a normal 29 day cycle but I ovulate on day 20!

Can you use a pink test like first response instead? They're more sensitive
