Currently TTC number 2 and struggling after getting pregnant fairly easily with number 1 (on cycle 3)!
Thought I'd start a thread so we can all support each other. Anyone else on their TTC journey for number 2? I am currently on cycle 7 and have ruled myself out already as negative pregnancy test at 10DPO. Each month I convince myself that I am pregnant! Experienced a chemical at cycle 3 😩

@NattyPeer yeah all good here, still not feeling 100% real but it didn't really the first time until there was an actual baby in my arms!

How are you feeling? Have you showed your other half the test?

I feel anxious! Yeah showed him but we both don’t want to get our hopes up! Did you have any symptoms before BFP? My boobs are tender 🤣

Aw, tentative congratulations and hoping for a sticky baby for you ♥️♥️ I still keep checking to see how everyone is getting on and hoping for more positives for you all. I'm 18+4 now, it's amazing how quickly time goes. Sending lots of baby dust to those others still trying x

Hi all - I'm now on cycle 2 in TTC for baby number 2. I thought I would be more chilled this time round but if anything I feel more pressure I don't know why. I got pregnant in 2 cycles with baby number 1. Xx

Yes I completely understand that. I still can't quite believe it and keep thinking something is going to go wrong so the worry hasn't faded for me. We had a private scan a week or so ago and it's another boy 🥰 I was happy with either, just hoping for a healthy full term baby

@NattyPeer 19 weeks now so nearly half way. Haven't felt much yet so still feeling pretty anxious.

No I literally had nothing and the BFP took ages to come but then got all the symptoms from about 6 weeks.

Really hoping it's third time sticky for you guys!

@hopefullyTTC2x sounds like we are very close in timings.. really hoping there's more of that from this thread, it kept me sane at points!!

I'm on day 3 so right at the beginning! Using the natural cycles app to track ovulation etc so I'm really hoping before Xmas I'll get some good news but we will shall see! What about you? Xx

Im now 15 weeks and in the stage where I don’t feel pregnant after coming out of the first trimester (I am still very tired after 4pm though).

Hey ladies ,

Hoping I can join in, i have spent the last hour or so reading everyone's posts.

I am 38 yrs old, TTC #4!

3 children from a previous relationship.17/15/13 yrs old.

I think I may be slightly mad with wanting to start again 😂

my last " period" i use " " as i was on the mini pill, so not technically a period, that was 23/9/24, i then stopped taking the pill towards the end of this period, and i carried on bleeding until the 7/10/24, so im guessing the prelonged bleeding was due to withdrawl bleed? i then on the 19th had a random bleed for around 4 hours, im guessing the prelong and random cleeds where due to coming off the pill.

im not too sure how long it will take for my body to go back to normal after the pill, but according to my FLO app, i will ovulate on the 1/11/24, so if this is correct my fertile days start today, CM isnt hinting at being fertile but we will see.

I luckily caught quickly with my other pregnancies ( 2 MC'S between middle and youngest ) , however, i am worrying this time around as i know my biological clock is ticking and may not happen at all for me this time around.

i have noticed a few other ladies on this thread are also in their mid/late 30's so its been nice reading that im not alone!

so cycle day 10 today ( according to flo), fertile day 1....... lets see what this brings!!

I'm 38 also and currently ttc number 2.
To be honest I'm not sure I'm mentally ready for number 2 yet as DS is only 4 months but im so conscious of that ticking clock that i dont feel i can wait. As he's an ivf baby I'm not really expecting to fall pregnant quickly/if at all which is why we figured screw it no harm trying. I think we'll give it 6 months and after which try and pursue ivf again.
We only ever managed to fall pregnant the once 2 years ago ( mc) but we both have fertility issues

Sadly this is going the same way as the last two 😔😢 I have nothing left to give!

Can you see the Dr and see if they have any insight or anything?

I tried yesterday but they just don’t listen or understand unfortunately! We are going to go private to see why this keeps happening as it cannot be normal!!!

That's terrible. I thought they were meant to investigate after 2/3.
Can you speak to your local epu at all?
