Letrozole & Clomid

Has anyone conceived on letrozole if clomid didn’t work?
I conceived my son on first clomid cycle but unfortunately he died at 24 weeks. So have been trying for over a year now and about 5 clomid cycles and chemical every time.

Just switched to letrozole and looking for some hope

Anyone?

First off i am so so sorry about your son and other earlier losses. That is absolutely heartbreaking 💔

I’m just finishing up my last cycle of letrozole ( 9 cycles of letrozole, 8 made me ovulate) I am 11 dpo with a negative test yesterday.

I conceived my 2nd cycle of letrozole last year but unfortunately ended in a miscarriage at 6 weeks.

I didn’t get much side effects from letrozole- I was on 2.5mg my first two cycles, didn’t ovulate on the 3rd couple months after the mc, so was upped to 5mg for cycles 4 through to 9 and ovulated each time.
I even had 2 follicles ready to release on cycle 6 but we haven’t been lucky enough yet to concieve again.

Im sorry I couldnt give a more positive story from myself, but I have definitely read of good success stories with letrozole.

Hello, I know this is an old post but wanted to reply. I'm so sorry to hear about your son.
I conceived on my 2nd round of letrezole and had a smooth pregnancy. I have pcos and didn't ovulate on my own. My 8 week old is next to me sleeping now. Please don't lose hope. I didn't have any side effects but alongside letrezole I stopped drinking coffee, alcohol, took conceive plus vitamins & walked a lot. Wishing you the very best ❤️
